How about create a fake virus?
Say hello to the "Happy Hour Virus". A handy site that will in fact, create a fake technological disaster giving you the excuse to say your computer is on the fritz and you cannot complete your work. How great is this? You can even customize your "virus". Do you want a blue screen panic, simple broken monitor, or an alarming message like the following...
Boom. Work day done.

For some reason, this really does not surprise me. People are coming up with new reasons everyday to not have to actually work. It was only a matter of time before someone came up with this. The risk would be if your boss found out about this and caught you in the act. I have a feeling that would not go over smoothly and you would not have "happy" hours again for a while.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing. I wish I could say I am surprised that there is actually a software website to create this- kudos to them. I would personally be too afraid to try the mock virus at work. School, maybe. Work, no way in hell.
